IIS Celebrates 10th Anniversary
2001 was a year no one will ever forget— Apple introduced the iPod, the Harry Potter film franchise hit theaters, and Wikipedia revolutionized online information sharing. But here at I Imagine, we remember 2001 for a different reason.
2001 was the year our agency was born. Following the collapse of internet consulting company marchFIRST, friends and former coworkers Alena Tsimis and Olga Weiss found themselves unemployed and in need of a next step. The two joined forces to start their own full-service marketing agency— I Imagine Studio. Born out of necessity, the agency was founded without any prior plans or preparation, and initially relied on referrals from friends and family to secure clients.

Marketing to Millennials
“…The Millennial Generation will entirely recast the image of youth from downbeat and alienated to upbeat and engaged—with potentially seismic consequences for America.”-Millennials Rising: the Next Generation
Millennials—young, tech-crazy and success-driven, are quickly rising as the largest, most influential group of new consumers in the United States. Products of the late 80’s and early 90’s, the members of this generation have been predicted to become the prime “catalysts for change in our society” as well as in the economic marketplace. The view of this generation’s makeup has been, for the most part, strikingly clean-cut, characterizing the generation as one of endless optimism (almost to the point of naïveté), defined primarily by its open worldview and desire to make a positive difference.
Larry Minksy’s Six Steps to Successful Sponsorships
Larry Minksy’s Six Steps to Successful Sponsorships
It is our pleasure to announce that our V.P. of Advertising, Larry Minsky, has once again been published on the Harvard Business Review website. His newest article, “Six Steps to Successful Sponsorships,” co-authored with Arc Worldwide President & Chief Creative Officer William Rosen, provides insight into the process of maximizing return on sponsorship marketing. In addition to being published on the HBR website, the article has also been reproduced on sites such as CEO.com, BusinessWeek.com, and BusinessDailyAfrica.com.
In “Six Steps to Successful Sponsorships” Minsky and Rosen point out that while sponsorships typically feel good, they often fall short in terms of results for marketers. This less than optimal outcome can frequently be attributed to the fact that marketers treat sponsorships as an end in themselves, instead of as a means to further broader objectives and strategies.
