Get ready for giant floods! When you visit Amazon Rising: Seasons of the River, you'll
enter one of the world's most diverse environments - the Amazon River and rainforest.
On your visit, you'll experience a whole year of Amazon seasons - and see the changes that
year, the river system floods up to 30 feet, sending water - and fish - deep into the flooded
yearly floods bring to the river and the forest that surrounds it. For up to six months a

In Amazon Rising, you'll meet animals like the anaconda, piranhas and arawanas -
fish that can leap up to three feet out of the water to snap insects, spiders and even
birds from flooded forest branches. And, you'll see how people who live along the Amazon
