2012 Chicago Consular Corps Ball
On Thursday, September 20, I Imagine was fortunate to be able to attend the 2012 Chicago Consular Corps Ball hosted by Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI).
“I was delighted to attend the Ball and meet influential people who have made beneficial contributions to the City of Chicago,” says Alena Tsimis, the Managing Director of I Imagine. “Steven Koch’s speech about the future plans for the city was truly inspiring. They include crime prevention, improving the education system, and boosting the economy.”
At the ball, William A. Osborn received the prestigious 2012 Global Citizen Award, honoring individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to the international reputation, stature and outreach of Chicago.
Also at the ball were Honorary Chairs Mayor Rham Emanuel, Consul General Maza-Pittsford and Phillip Stratford, as well as Deputy Major Steven Koch, who served as one of the co-chairs. The proceeds from the ball go toward the work of Chicago Sister Cities International and fund Chicago Consular Corps scholarships to the University of Illinois at Chicago.
