Bringing Exposure to Clarus Glassboards | Product Training with a Twist
Last month we worked with the stellar team at Clarus Glassboards to secure editorial coverage of their recent event at Cook Children’s Medical Center, where the Clarus team and top interior designers from around the country came together for product training with a twist.
Clarus is a leading manufacturer in decorative glass whiteboards, with clients like Apple, Twitter, and more. So to ensure the right level of exposure, we focused on sharing the heart-warming story with industry publications such as Interior Design magazine, Office Insight, Healthcare Design magazine and MMQB.
At the event, Clarus designed and donated numerous go!Mobile glass boards. See two of the published pieces, and watch the Clarus Experience below:

Clarus Glassboards and Designers Give Back to Children’s Hospital
Glass Whiteboard Company Hosts Top Designers to Create go! Mobile Boards for Children’s Hospital
Fort Worth, TX (09/08/14)—It was a day of design, networking and education at Clarus Glassboards, but most importantly an opportunity to put a smile on the faces of sick children in Fort Worth and brighten their day. Clarus Glassboards and top interior designers from around the country came together for a product training session with a twist.
A group of over 20 designers were invited to come to Fort Worth and learn about Clarus Glassboards, see new products and tour the largest Glassboard fabrication facility in the United States. But that was not all. At Clarus, a strong community service and people-centered culture exists, so President Andrew Philipp wanted to engage with the designer group in a more meaningful way.
“The idea of creating go! Mobile boards to donate to a children’s hospital came up and I loved the idea,” said Philipp. “We had to do it.”
Armed with the idea of blending product training and community service, Clarus approached Healthboard client Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth and the concept quickly came together and was greenlighted.
Onsite at Clarus, designers received a brief overview of the go! Mobile product and Cook Children’s Medical Center, and then broken into small groups for a fast-paced design session. After the designs were complete, the groups were able to watch their creations come to life immediately on the factory floor. Then the group loaded up four Mobiles and set off for Cook Children’s to surprise local kids.
“This was totally awesome! Unlike any other product training I’ve ever attended,” said one designer when the Mobiles were presented at the hospital.
Best of all, thanks to the generosity of Clarus, many designers and Cook Children’s, these Mobiles will continue to provide engaging and fun activities for sick children for many years to come.
