In Memory of Ted Pincus
I Imagine Studio would like to take a moment to honor a revered colleague and friend who recently passed away. Ted Pincus was both a renowned PR specialist and trusted consultant here at I Imagine Studio. Losing such an influential friend prompts us to remember the ways he touched us personally and professionally. An extremely prevalent figure in the world of PR and Investing Relations, Ted was a role model for all of us at I Imagine Studio and his lifetime of achievements deserve to be honored and remembered.
Ted’s gift for words and communication helped him reinvent public relations and become a widely respected and trusted consultant to numerous chief executives. Not only a finance professor at DePaul University and business columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times, Ted was the founder of the Financial Relations Board which became a powerhouse for investor relations and one of the largest PR agencies by the time he sold the company in 2000. During his lifetime, Ted also became the author of multiple books and a long-time trustee of The Gateway Foundation in addition to six other non-profit organizations.
Ted was an incredible mentor and friend to I Imagine Studio, and though he primarily worked with large companies, he was always gracious enough to take time to work with our small agency. His words inspired us with the confidence to think bigger. Ted was an incredibly perceptive individual and quickly recognized I Imagine’s strengths in brand development and activation; he pushed us to refine these strengths and to strive for optimum performance with every client and project. Ted believed in I Imagine enough to recommend our services to his friends and colleagues.
All in all, I Imagine Studio is extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with such a gracious and enlightening individual and will continue working with Ted’s invaluable lessons in mind. We at I Imagine Studio offer our sincere condolences to the Pincus family, and we grieve this loss. Ted will be sorely missed, but his brilliance, kindness, and lifetime of accomplishments will live on, continuing to move and motivate all who worked with him throughout his inspiring career.
