USING SOCIAL TO INSPIRE & BE INSPIRED
These days, it’s safe to say that if you’re not on some form of social media, you pretty much don’t exist. While this mainly holds true for personal social media profiles, it’s becoming a reality that many professional businesses are facing as well.

Emphasizing the significance of a job applicant's online presence (O.P.), Minsky discusses the importance of appropriateness when it comes to social media. For example, it is critical that you always screen your profile to make sure it’s job appropriate.

One big takeaway from the book is the increasing digital nature of the world we live in, and recognizing how vital it is to keep up. Social media is just one, albeit important, way for applicants to demonstrate their digital skills.
