With six innovative collections and a product launch on the horizon, Lamin-Art charged us with the task of a complete website redesign, creating a platform that reflects the beauty of their surfaces–while allowing designers, architects and fabricators to intuitively explore their products, quickly order samples, and find inspiration through their portfolio of projects.

Over the years we have been privileged to participate in the judging of the Web Marketing Association’s WebAwards. This year was no different, as we took on the role of a target user and scoured over numerous website submissions, focusing on design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.

And while we may have our favorites, each of the website designs featured a few key elements. From our judging we picked up on several must-know trends for the future of web design. Our biggest recommendation: Keep it simple.
