DISH Network is a nationwide, premier provider of cable television services. Along with a myriad of mainstream media options, DISH Network offers specific television programming to a number of ethnic markets. In December of 2005, DISH Network chose I Imagine Studio to provide new marketing materials for their program expansion within the Russian ethnic market. With an established presence in ethnic marketing, especially Russian, we were able to develop the necessary materials and enhance the DISH market presence in Russian television programming.
When DISH Network first contacted I Imagine Studio, they sought print materials which would retain their existing ethnic customers as well as extend their brand into new customers. To achieve this, we performed an in-depth analysis of the Russian American audience to discover market characteristics and needs. Together with our personal experience and research, our expert creative team developed print ads featuring program highlights, family and home packages, and referral programs.
To further expand DISH Network’s regional reach, I Imagine Studio created an outdoor billboard campaign in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago. This campaign promoted five new eastern European TV channels to Russian audiences. I Imagine placed this contemporary and sophisticated billboard, inspired by post-Soviet artwork, near Russian communities to create the optimal opportunity for DISH Network to successfully expand their presence.
